Kent Air Ambulance
James Dodd has raised money for the Kent Air Ambulance by Sky Diving.
Harris Hospice
H Williams & Associates were pleased to support the Petts Wood 10K run with two runners - Dr Andrew Williams 55 mins 3 seconds and Practice Manager Natalie Fall 59 mins 19 seconds. Heather, Kevin, Yvonne, Sarah,Tom, Emily, Emily, and Josie cheered them on and handed out the Goody Bags to the successful runners.
Whitechapel Mission
H Williams & Associates is proud to help the Whitechapel Mission. Situated in the East End of London, the Charity has been looking after the homeless for over 100 years.
The Practice is happy to support the Whitechapel mission for the homeless with the donation of Disposable toothbrushes & toothpaste.
One Saturday morning in the summer, Emma and Katherine represented the Practice by volunteering to help cook breakfast for more than 70 homeless people. The mission opens its doors early, so Emma and Katherine had to be up by 4.30am, which was very noble as they both work full time.
Smile
H Williams and Associates is proud to support the local charity Smile International which helps the people overseas who are poor and needy
Staff have contributed Christmas shoeboxes full of toys for the needy children in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
The Practice also sponsors a Smile child. This was proposed at a Practice meeting and unanimously agreed.
Dream Rides
H Williams & Associates are pleased to be one of the Sponsors of Dream Rides. Our Practice Administrator, Yvonne, and her husband work hard in their free time for the annual event 'Dream Rides'. It was set up in memory of Molly Biederman,who at the tender age of 5 years old, died from a form of cancer called Wilms Tumour. This is a very rare form of cancer which can effect children up to the age of 7 years old.
The Charity is solely dedicated to raising much needed funds for awareness of Wilms Tumour and other childhood cancers. All funds raised go directly to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
